How do packages get to families?
We hand the packages created to the labor and delivery hospital staff.
The staff then delivers these packages to the families experiencing late term loss.
What is in the care packages?
Various postpartum care supplies (pads, wipes, healing foam, breast pads, ice packs) as well as a necklace, bracelet, doordash giftcard, support resources, and a handwritten letter from us.
Are there items for both mom & dad?
YES! While the postpartum supplies are tailored to mom's healing, the bracelet included is intended for dad (or mom!)
The support resources also include support for both parents
How much does one package cost?
$150 for one package.
Any donation helps create one package tho! Even $10 helps buy a necklace for mom!
How many packages are given a month?
Our goal is to provide 8 total packages a month
That would provide 4 to each hospital we serve.
What hospitals do we donate to?
Currently we donate packages to Iowa Methodist Medical Center and MercyOne Medical Center Downtown, both located in Des Moines, IA
As we grow, we home we can deliver to more hospitals!
